What's new at Docutrend?
An Update From the President, Aaron Rubin

Docutrend just turned nine years old in October 2011. Going into our 10th year in business, we continue to expand and retool our portfolio of services to provide best of breed technologies to our current and future clients. Nine years ago, we handled only one copier manufacturer, one printer manufacturer and a handful of software applications. Now, Docutrend has three regional offices, employs over 45 people and is well respected in the business community. We represent the two top manufacturers in the copier business (Canon and Ricoh/ Savin), support HP and Lexmark printers and have a portfolio of software applications to assist any size organization that is looking to increase efficiencies and increase document security. Additionally, we have strategic partnerships with off-site and on-site facilities management companies, shredding and scanning companies, as well as other business services organizations to help its clients with any type of challenges they may encounter.

imagePRESS Digital Production
Docutrend has recently enhanced its portfolio of products and services to include the Canon imagePRESS lineup of digital production color printers and MFPs. These machines are more like Presses than copiers. They provide exceptional image quality, durability and speed to handle the most demanding work environments. Coupled with front end RIPs (Raster Image Processors) from EFI and CREO, these devices can produce up to 500,000 color impressions per month at extremely affordable rates. These machines are targeted at the Commercial Print/ Print for Pay community, in-plant operations at major manufacturers and corporate reprographics departments that support the array of large printing needs for its user community.

Docutrend is going WIDE!
Wide format that is! We now offer a full range of both color and monochrome wide format solutions to help organizations create posters, CAD Drawings, signage, photographic output and pre-press proofing. The imagePROGRAF line from Canon and the Ricoh/ Savin line of Wide Format MFPs and plotters (from Epson,) extend our services beyond the traditional office copier and printer.

Helpdesk Enhancements
Docutrend has enhanced its help desk offering to include remote installation and configuration services for your print infrastructure, remote troubleshooting and personalized services to keep your imaging devices working more efficiently. Additionally, by allowing us to implement our FM Audit solution on your network, we can monitor, report on and respond to all supplies replenishment and service needs that your equipment may have without the need to place a phone call. We can proactively manage your devices remotely, so you don’t have to!

Online Meter Reads
Lastly, we now offer online meter read reporting that allows you to report your meters through a secure web page for accurate and timely billing. If you haven’t started using this service, please contact our contracts administrators to record your email and set up your account to receive these emails today.
